About The Director |
| Sheila Wipf is in her 24th year
of teaching band in the Freeman Public School District in Freeman, South
Dakota. She teaches instrumental lessons for 5th through 8th
graders, as well as directing the junior high band and the high school
band. She also directs the high school girls' chorus.
Mrs. Wipf grew up in northwest Iowa and majored in music education at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Freeman is where she began her music education career in 1994. She completed her Masters Degree in classroom technology at the University of South Dakota in 2008. She is married and has three daughters and a son, ages eighteen, sixteen, thirteen, and ten. |
